I don't think I ever saw a real ladybut until we moved into this house 5 yrs. ago. Now we have a ladybug season.Tracihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05394041890043330124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-704246404391986389.post-19763927815172061122010-12-30T23:01:05.165-06:002010-12-30T23:01:05.165-06:00Great pics of the kiddos! We have Christmas round 2 this weekend with my inlaws, so all of my Christmas decor is still up.

We always have ham and black eyed peas on New Years Day. I LOVE black eyed peas!!! I don't know why I don't make them through the year. I like to eat mine over some white rice. On NYE, we usually just have appetizers and snack food. This year, we're having some shrimp cocktails, artichoke spinach dip, and some salsa and chips...along with several desserts, of course! :)

Hope you all have a very happy
New Years!jennykate77https://www.blogger.com/profile/06148466048132599366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-704246404391986389.post-18066103865667633632010-12-30T14:58:43.753-06:002010-12-30T14:58:43.753-06:00the weather bites bullets...at least it's over...the weather bites bullets...at least it's overcast but shesh! the humidity is a bummer on the end of the year!Laura@The Oily Cupboardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13649567413697929693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-704246404391986389.post-91532989067946572652010-12-30T10:13:29.540-06:002010-12-30T10:13:29.540-06:00We always have ham and black eyed peas. My 4.5 year old ...I love having little helpers too. My 4.5 year old will generally gladly help switch laundry and fold (especially dish towels) there are days she'll discover the laundry is done (usually during room time when she isn't supposed to be in the laundry room) and ask to switch and fold laundry. Ha! Even my 19 month old likes to help and push the buttons. I'm hoping if I keep having them help they'll still help when they get to the age it isn't fun anymore!

I'm not cooking anything for New Years. My parents tradition was always steak and since we'll likely still be at their house that sounds good. If we head back home that day it will be something fast and easy.Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11172023748996959733noreply@blogger.com
