Easter 2018

We spent our Easter morning on the golf course.

It was a wonderful day for golf.  The weather was breezy but nice and the sun was shining bright!

The Easter bunny delivered eggs to our backyard.

We enjoyed a relaxing afternoon on the back porch.  Layla drew pictures, Hayden played with his lizard friend and Gary and I just enjoyed the warm April sunshine!

I played the worst round of golf ever.  I actually quit.  I had high hopes for my Easter golf game, but it was less than pleasant.  It's been awhile since I failed so terribly at golf.  You win some and you lose some.

double dates

We love to hang out as a family of four, but we also know that it's important for individual time together. Today Layla and I went to a small beach area with one of her friends and her mom.

The boys went to play golf.

Hayden is feeling much better after many itchy days and I'm so thankful he enjoyed his day with dad on the golf course.  We ended the day with dad grilling a yummy beef tenderloin.  It was a fun Monday! 

Dad's day

Hayden's school had a dad appreciation day and I am so thankful Gary was able to attend.

It was early in the morning and they served donuts for the kiddos and coffee for the dads.

Gary texted me both pictures!  I love this selfie of my guys.  Gary got to meet a few dads, so that was a bonus.  We're excited about this new school and I think it's a great thing that the dad's day was on the second day of school for Hayden!  I think it helped him feel more at home to have Gary there!
