18 years today

Gary surprised me with lunch at work, flowers and a ring pop.
He's a great husband and I love him so much!!

After work we got the kiddos settled and went out for dinner and a few cold beers.

It was a fun way to celebrate 18 years!

14 years ago on the beach at sunrise I married my best friend!

These are awful pictures of pictures, but I had to post them.

We look like babies.

I love our wedding scrap book.  I created it myself, long before I ever thought about keeping up with our family blog.

We made a fun trip of our wedding.  We had tons of fun!

Gosh I love this man!  He's definitely my soul mate!

Look....we even took a selfie, all the way back in 2000!

Happy Anniversary Gary Sipes!!

a day in the life of a flower girl

Layla and I arrived at the dressing room for the bride, Jenn.

Layla sat very still and quiet the entire time she had her hair done.

She doesn't look very happy in this picture.  She looks so serious, but I promise she was having fun.

Her hair turned out so pretty.  She grinned from ear to ear when she saw it!

It was so cute to see her keep looking into the mirror.

She said she felt like a princess. I think she looked like a princess!

Sweetest girl!

I took a million pictures of her...my finger was sore from snapping so many!

This is my favorite picture of her in the dressing room before the wedding with the beautiful bride!

Heading down the isle, throwing white rose pedals.

Daddy's girl!

I am so happy Layla was part of Korey and Jenn's wedding.  She had an amazing time and it is such a huge honor to be the flower girl!  I have never been more proud of my little girl!  She did an amazing job and I know she had a wonderful time.  We made some super fun memories at this wedding!

Friday in the Hill Country

We left our house early on Friday morning to drive to a wedding weekend for our friends Korey and Jenn.  They have been dating for over 10 years.  We were honored to be a part of their wedding.

I loved every minute of the scenery...It was breathtakingly beautiful!

I love this picture of Gary and the kids.

It was a fun weekend celebrating two lives becoming one.

But it was also a sad time for Gary.  One of his high school friends died in his sleep on Friday.  I can remember the two of them playing soccer together every Sunday morning when we first started dating.  I have lots of memories of all of us hanging out together.  It is so sad, this young man died.  It has really made Gary and I stop and appreciate what we have.

Layla and Hayden loved the little fountain and pond.
Hayden could have stood there and watched the fish for hours.

I love these two munchkins.  Can you tell Hayden is saying cheeeeese?

The rehearsal dinner was held at a winery.  It was very pretty and there was plenty of space for the kids to run!  They had been cooped up in the car all day, so running was good for them.

I loved the huge open covered patio.  It was so quint and perfect for a rustic country rehearsal dinner.
The food was amazing, you know me...I love good food!

The kids stayed up WAY past their bedtimes.  It was so much fun, but they got so tired.

We asked the kids their favorite part of the day and they both said they loved seeing the fish!

Gary and I had a great time visiting with tons of people we haven't seen in years.
I will post more pictures soon.  Layla was such a pretty flower girl!

Happy Tuesday!
