No movie for you...I'm watching Oprah :)
HA! HC cracks me up. He is unbelievably busy these days. We set him down in one spot and who knows where he will end up. He loves turning down the volume on the surround sound. Yep...I still haven't gotten the glass put in the doors of the entertainment center. Gary and I decided to turn our buffet into an entertainment center. LK never messed with things, so now I am forced to finish what we started. I'm going to stain the doors and take them to have glass put in. Mmmmm wonder when I can do that?? HA! I'm just too busy.
Oprah was GREAT yesterday. I enjoyed it and realized that the stress of motherhood is usually felt by all mothers. Sometimes I feel as though I shouldn't complain about my issues because I am a stay at home mom. In my opinion working mothers have it much harder. I can't imagine juggling a job and daily chores and duties. I just don't know how some of you do it. On the other hand some days I go NUTS. I talk Gary's ear off when he walks in the door...poor guy. I think working moms get that adult conversation that I enjoy. I do get together with other moms for the kids to play, but I'm usually chasing someone, and we can't have a real uninterrupted conversation. I know there are pros and cons with both. I am happy with my choice. I LOVE what I do and wouldn't trade it for anything. Being a SAHM is wonderful and is a perfect fit for our family. I'm just glad I was tuned into Oprah yesterday; I realize that I'm not alone. We all go a little crazy at times!

Grilling weather!
I've made this recipe for Barbeque sauce several times, and we love it.
I found in on Allrecipes. Super yummy~ness.
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons chopped onion
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
1 pinch celery salt
1 pinch mustard powder
Combine ketchup, vinegar, sugar, onion, and lemon juice in a small saucepan. Season with Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, allspice, celery salt, and mustard powder. Simmer over medium low heat for 5 minutes.
I always make up a batch of this when Gary cooks brisket or ribs. It goes well with both. I don't care for bottled sauce, so we love this one! I'm gonna try out more soon, so I'll post them when I do!
I hope you are all having a great Saturday...between boogers, cooking and chasing a crawling boy we are going nuts! Woo hoo! Great weekend :)
