Cozy bed for our spunky pup

Miss Lily got a new bed and she loves it so much!!

I know it is a silly thing, but she is just so happy about her bed.  She has a little pep in her step lately.  We got new couches and she can't get on the living room furniture anymore.  She was so sad to lay on the hard floor of the living room while we watch TV at night.  Now she has her own space and she's quite proud.  I'm so happy for my Lily Bear!  She is sharing her space with her bone. :)

We got baths today!!!

Lily and Daisy went to the groomer this afternoon and they got fresh baths, a haircut for Daisy and new collars.  They are feeling all fiesty and clean and ready for Christmas.

We recently found out that Hayden is allergic to dogs. He isn't so much allergic to Daisy, her breed is hypoallergenic, but Lily sheds enough in a day to create a small mouse.  We know she is the allergen in our family, but we love her anyway.  She's our big black bear and we will clean like mad people to help ease his ezcema!

Merry Merry from our Christmas puppies!

cat watching

This silly group makes me giggle.

The dogs love this front room in our house.  They love to gaze out the windows and heck, so do I!  I love having my morning coffee in my polka dot chair.  I get to see all kinds of wildlife even though we live in the city.

I took this picture with my phone, in a hurry.  It is rare that I get all four in one place at the same time.  The dogs spotted a cat sitting in our shrubs.  Silly cat.  Goodness, the dogs were whining and barking and losing it over that cat.  The kids stopped what they were doing to find out what the fuss was and that is when they all decided to stare down the cat.  The neighborhood cat didn't mind and it just gazed back at them through the window.

Oh what a group these four are!  We are enjoying our summer that's for sure!

Drive west Sipes fam

We are moving. We had a driveway party with our favorite neighbors.  The kids had their last day of school at Bascomb.   We ate at all our favorite Georgia eateries.  We played at our favorite park one last time and said goodbye to many friends we made the last year and a half.

We have had quite the adventure.  We are all packed up and our moving truck is heading to Texas, but we have been stuck in Louisiana in flood waters.  We stayed in a nasty hotel because that is all that was left due to all the other stranded travelers.  We are in separate cars so driving in the pouring rain has been quite the challenge for me.  I'm not a fan.

Hayden barfed in the hotel bed and isn't feeling well.  We have two pups that are being awesome, but could not potty due to the horrible rain.  I feel bad for them.

Of all the moves this one has been the most challenging.  It is all for good reason.  We are moving home.   We are moving back to Waco where Gary and I met.  We will make it through anything to get back home!!  The kids are cheering for us!  They are ready to be back in Texas with family!

Time for a checkup!

I waited until the kids were out of school so they could help me take the puppies to the veterinarian.

I knew I'd need help wrangling the heathen dogs up the steep flight of stairs to the vets office. Once we got inside they were great patients.

Lily and Daisy both got their shots and checkups. They are both perfectly healthy canines!

We sure do love these pretty pups. I'm thankful for them everyday and even more thankful to know we rescued them from the shelter!

Puppy power!

After having had two big dogs I didn't want to get another big dog to 'replace' them. We decided to get Daisy who tops out at 13 lbs. I think she is the best dog. She's a princess for sure!

Then we moved to Ohio and I decided we needed an 'Ohio' dog.

I'm so smitten with this black lab pup. She didn't replace Callaway or Harley, because she has an awesome personality of her own!

I love them both to the moon and back. And I love that these girls are besties!

Our little stick eaters

We are soaking up every moment with these two canines for the next few days. We are leaving for a quick trip and they can't come with us. We will miss them so much!

Our dogs are such a big part of our family!

I know they will be just fine on their vacation, but I always feel guilty leaving them!
