way random miscellany monday

Ever have days when you are full of randomness?

Some days I am full of it and others not so much.  Today I am full of "bull corn" Maybe due to the candy corn high I am coming down from. I just don't think it is normal to love candy corn this much.  But I really do need to stop eating them.  Since the randomness is flowing as fast as candy corns are made in the factory...I am linking up with Carissa today.

There is entirely too much candy in this house. Barf.

We bought some to pass out, but we actually passed out, so we couldn't pass out candy.
Whew...that was a mouthful, but I'm sure you understand the total exhaustion of Halloween.  I fell asleep on the couch at like 9:00. The Ranger game did that too me. So sad sad sad. {shaking head in sadness}  Come on Rangers...let's do this thing tonight!!!

And more candy in the buckets. Barf.  But I will grin and bear it and let the kids eat some before most of it goes into the trash can. The kids get candy at Halloween, Christmas, Valentines Day and Easter too.  Do you ever feel like you are drowning in candy?

And here is an interesting tid bit for you....I did not pass out candy as I stated before, but my lovely neighbor did.  She informed me of some real craziness.  Apparently mothers were putting a bucket on the front of their infant strollers wheeling them up to the door so the 3 month old infants can get their share of the candy. Can babies get cavities on their gums? Oh...the candy is for the mommies and daddies....GO BUY SOME.  Let the real trick or treaters get the candy. Oh, I just don't understand sometimes.  Moving on...

See this bowl with the shower cap on it.  I love these kitchen "shower caps"!!  Sometimes I just don't have a lid.  These handy dandy bowl covers come in various sizes and are the best invention ever!  I got a 6 pack of them at the local Dollar General store. Score!!

And this my friends is an omelet.  100% pure protein.  Made by my personal chef  husband.  Oh how I love this man and the fact that before he locks himself in the home office he makes me omelets in the morning.  I could marry this man....oh ha!  I am married to him, and so thankful for that!!  And the omelet is filled with black beans, cheese, and of course two eggs.

And it must be topped with Clint's HOT salsa.  This is the best salsa if you like it hot!  We like it hot...not only is everything bigger in Texas it is hotter too.  MY cousin came for a visit a few weekends ago...Love ya KP!!!!  And he LOVED this salsa...he couldn't stop talking about how stinkin' good it was.  It is made in San Antonio, Texas.

Here is a close up of the label so you can go buy it today.  I wish they were paying me to say all this...that would be sweet!  But they aren't.  You know me though...always sharing about food.  I love food.

The label cracked me up...another reason I buy this brand...I like a good Salsa jar that makes you laugh.  Under the Refrigerate after Opening it says....Not Available in New York City.

That was really random!  Happy Monday :)

I saw a few of the little babies with candy buckets last night too, but even worse than that were the moms who were carrying their own bucket! We had a couple do that, and one drunk mom begged for a sucker for herself too! Crazy people! I have a ton of candy that needs to get out of my house soon before I eat it all!!

Not only is it ridiculous for a 3 month old to be trick-or-treating but you wouldnt believe the high school and college students! And sometimes they dont even dress up. Another pet peeve of mine is when you hand the trick-or-treater a piece of candy and they tell you they dont want that kind. You get what you get and dont cry a bit!

I want that omelet!!! I love omelets...pretty much anything with eggs. We are on candy overload as well and I'm slowing trying to bring it to work. I swear Caleb took an inventory that night...he was so excited.

That was random:) But good! I love me some salsa... and that cracks me up that it's not available in NYC. I wonder why?!
And I hear you on the candy... My house is overloaded and it makes me ill just thinking about it!

That omelet looks delish...I'm such a huge fan of breakfast foods, we often have bfast for dinner! And that hot sauce, yummo! I love anything spicy and HOT! Glad Halloween was fun for y'all...we barely had any trick or treaters or candy for that matter. Last year we stocked up and had so much leftover with only 5 trick or treaters. Love how you said sometimes you are full of randomness and others not so much! Seems my life is always random! :)
