Happy 4th of July

The 4th of July was a fun day.  We managed to get a picture of the 6 of us which is hard to do!

We celebrated with new friends at their house.  The kids swam, we ate yummy food and the girls tumbled.  The boys played laser gun wars and us adults had a fun time hanging out on the back porch.  At one point it rained and it felt so nice and cool outside.  The kiddos did sparklers without worry of it being to hot.

We had a wonderful day and we're thankful for our freedom and are proud  to celebrate our country!

My favorite holiday

I just love Thanksgiving.

Lily does too.
he pups are waiting for Gary to drop something while carving the turkey.
Look at her tongue sticking out.

I'm super thankful for our new home this year. We are loving it and we are happy to have invited family to join us in our turkey day feast!

Look at the adorable bottles my momma made me for decor.  I'm going to keep them around all year long, I just love them!

I love food!

I'm so excited we are sitting on our deck. Gary and his awesome buddies build us a deck and we are loving it.  We plan to finish staining it in a few months, but for now it is a wonderful addition to our backyard.  The pups are loving laying on it and sunbathing.

We are blessed and so thankful!

We tried and tried to capture fun pictures and we had so much fun being silly.
the fish even made this pic!

I'm so thankful for this man of mine. He's my best friend and I'm so happy to do this life with him.

My guys are ready for 2017!!  Hayden is still red, but he's all lotioned up for the night.

Hap. Happy New Year!

Christmas Eve 2016

We stuck with tradition and ate crab legs for Christmas Eve.  The weather was amazing, so we ate out on the back porch.  My parents came to join us for our lunch-dinner and I am a total slacker and didn't take many pictures.  I know...WHAT??

We have been wearing out the selfie stick.  I'm getting them trained to use it just right.  hahaha.  I love when they offer because I'm not as good with the stick as they are.

Hayden and Lily crack me up in this picture.  Goodness, you'd think this was torture.  And Daisy looking at Lily like....girl, you a mess.

Hey, we have new pj's act happy!

Remember the year Lily showed her butt during our pj picture and this year she snuck me the tongue.
Good grief.  Never dull folks, never dull.

After we all opened our gift of pj's and got a decent family picture and we went to the front yard to spread the reindeer food.  I had to take a picture looking inside the house at the tree.  I love those huge windows in the front of the house.

We loaded up and went driving, looking at the lights all over Woodway.

Once we got back home the kiddos were tired and tucked into bed and Santa delivered all the packages.

We are blessed!

Mother's Day 2016

We celebrated my first Mother's Day back in Texas.

I had a great day with my people.  They spoiled me all day long.

We all cracked up laughing when we set up the timer for this picture.  Lily licked Hayden right on his face.   I couldn't find the selfie stick so we did the best we could with the auto-timer on my iPhone.  The family is so sweet to let me get pictures.  I asked for a family shot and they totally knew it was coming!  I've got them trained right! ;)

All  I wanted for lunch was Chicken Parmesean.

Gary decided on Carino's, back where Gary and I worked once upon a time.  We splurged on Italian nachos, a salad, entree and a tiny dessert.  The dessert shocked me. It said mini, but it was really mini.  I got a tiny square of cheesecake and I was not impressed by it's size.  I saved my chicken parm to take home and finish for dinner.  I purposefully only ate a little so I could have room for dessert, but the dessert was definately different since we worked at Carinos. Kindof a bummer, that they were out of TIRAMISU. What in the world??

Gary got chicken picata and the kids got pizza dippers.

After our lunch they took me to HEB and let me pick out a hanging basket for my back patio.  I'm easy to please.  Anddddd since the cheesecake I ordered was so tiny we ended up getting another whole cake. LOL!  oink.  It was just a little frozen turtle cheesecake, but we all had more dessert and laid around full for the rest of the day!

Happy Mother's Day to all my favorite moms!!

Monday snowday!

I feel like I have posted so much about snow!!!  I have!!  It's been so fun.  I'm sure I'll get tired of it as the years go on, but in the here and now we are loving all the snow!

Look at Lily.  She's attacking Daisy and putting her best face forward.  heeehee!

If you look closely you can see the snowballs flying though the air!

Gary shook the tree in this picture and it 'snowed' all over again!

We live with these gigantic trees surrounding our house.
crazy huh?

Gary dug helped the kids make a tunnel of snow.  The slid down it and crawled inside time and time again.  It was the best day!

Thanksgiving 2013

We started our Thanksgiving day with traditional mimosas.

The kids were big helpers in the kitchen!  They had so much fun cooking with us.

I did what I normally do each Thanksgiving.  I eat at least 3 or 4 plates of food.  I love to put the food away on my favorite holiday.  It's the one day I really eat a ton of food!

We had a fun day celebrating and watching football.

I love my family!  We are blessed!
