I had an amazing Mother's Day weekend.
We started off the weekend on Saturday morning by going to our little towns Wild Wild West Chili Cook-Off and Rodeo. The kids had fun jumping in the bounce houses, getting balloon animals, and watching mutton busting. The rodeo was so cute! I really wanted to watch more, but the kids weren't having it. As exciting as it was to watch little kids hanging on to sheep for dear life, I think my kids just don't like to sit still!
It was so hawt on Saturday. We had to come home and play in the pool. AND Gary had this crazy idea to put a water sprinkler under the trampoline. The kids LOVED it! We also had our first popcicles of the season.
Sunday after a great Mother's Day church service we headed to meet my parents for lunch at Chuy's. It was delicious, but I am very partial to Mexican food. After lunch we did a little bit of shopping. It was great to see my parents.
On our way home from lunch Gary and the kids said they had a secret stop to make. We pulled up at the produce stand and they jumped out. When they returned they had a watermelon!!! I was thrilled. What a great Mother's Day treat! Our first watermelon of the season was so sweet and juicy!
I had so much fun with my family...I am so blessed!
I hope you all had a great Mother's Day too!
