tornado watch

Last night we had terrible storms and a tornado touched down about 7 miles from our house.
I took these pictures after we thought we were in the clear.

I can't remember a time I have ever been so terrified.  We were all huddled in the bathtub.  Gary who thinks he is a storm chaser watched the whole time.  He was only in the bathroom for all of 2.5 seconds.  He was giving me a nervous breakdown.  He even took a video of a rotating storm cell.

In all my life I have never seen a tornado in person. But I did last night. I am so thankful we are safe! I also saw the largest hail I have ever seen. A few pieces were the size of baseballs.

Spring storms make me so nervous.  I hope y'all are all staying safe.

I'm glad y'all are okay! I hate spring storms too but this year they mostly stayed north of us. I really hate when I'm home by myself with the kiddos and the weather gets so bad that the news won't pick up! That can be scary!

So glad ya'll are safe! I work in the steel/welding business and we are in the beginning phases of developing a storm shelter/safe room to manufacture and sell. The first place we are putting one is at our farm because currently we have a trailer up there and we all know that is the worst place to be in a storm!

The weather in the past few months has been so crazy!! So glad you all are okay. I feel so fortunate to have not had any damage to our home, but so sad for others who in recent months have lost so much!
