corn on the cob

I love yellow and white sweet corn.
Yellow corn is tasty, but when the white and yellow are mixed it is just sweet goodness.

Usually, we throw corn on the cob right onto the grill husks and all.
I decided to bake them in the oven instead.

I tore the husks off and cleaned them and rubbed them with butter.

Then I wrapped the corn cobs in individual foil pieces and baked on 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
Next time I bake them in the oven I am going to slow cook them at about 250 degrees for 2 hours.  It think it would make them so much better.  Slow cooking is the key to super tender corn.

It tasted so delicious and sweet.   Mmmmm!

Sweet...buttery...corn.

The kids always look so cute eating corn right off the cob.  They think it is so fun.

Do you eat corn right off the cob, or do you scrape the kernels off?

I like them boiled - slow cooking. It takes time, but the result is delicious.
Gorgeous photo!

Off the cob and then complain because it's in my teeth. So worth it though.
