ranch bread

I love bread.  I rarely buy french bread because I will eat the entire loaf myself.

Last night we had spaghetti with meat sauce and steamed broccoli.
And bread. Oh the bread. It was divine!

Gary and I are the victims of TV advertising.  We saw a commercial for Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning mix.  They buttered bread and sprinkled it with  HVR seasoning and then baked it.  I couldn't NOT share this wonderful little secret with y'all.

We tried it...it is very delicious!

I cut the bread in half and slathered butter all over each side.  I then sprinkled 1/4 of a packet of seasoning mix all over the buttered bread.  I placed the two halves on a cookie sheet and baked about 8 minutes at 375 degrees.  Easy Peasy!

That looks delish! I haven't ever thought of using Hidden Valley Ranch. I have the opposite problem with french bread! It's way too much for one person, then half of it spoils, and I feel guilty for having bought it in the first place...haha. :P
