I love cornbread fresh out of the oven all warm and buttery!
I just use the regular Jiffy cornbread mix. I double the recipe every time so it turns out nice and thick.
I pour the cornbread batter into my cast iron skillet and bake it.
Delicious warm golden goodness.
In our house half the batch was gone in a flash!
I typically only use real butter, but I heard about this Country Crock and had to try it. It is amazingly delicious and it gives corn bread just the sweetness needed for a cake like treat!
This is the way Gary eats his cornbread...topped with Queso and jalapenos!
