Cinnamon toasted almonds

I have been obsessed with almonds lately.  They are so healthy and super easy to eat on the go.  I saw a recipe for sweet cinnamon almonds, so I decided to try toasting my own.

Here is what I did:

2 cups whole almonds

*Preheat oven to 250 degrees and lightly grease a cookie sheet.*

1 egg white
1 teaspoon cold water

*Lightly beat the egg white & water.*

1/4 cup white sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

*mix sugar salt and cinnamon*

*Pour egg white and water over the nuts, and stir until well coated.*

*Mix the sugar, salt, and cinnamon, and sprinkle over the nuts.*

*Toss to coat, and spread evenly on the pan.*

*Bake for 1 hour stirring frequently*

If you like them extra crispy like me bake an additional 30 minutes stirring every 15 minutes.

Such a yummy & sweet snack treat!

these look delish! and i'm pretty sure you could use truvia or splenda to make it that much healthier! move over wasabi almonds - there is a new treat/snack in town!

Ooh, I will have to try this because I know that almonds are super healthy for you but I can't eat them plain.

Yum! I bet it smelled so good in your house when they were roasting! Did you start with raw almonds?

I have to try this!

ALMONDS ARE MY THING. I snack on them so much. I used to hate them, and then one day something just clicked!
